The essential role of networks in the development of the European Universities Initiative – An article for the TH&MA Journal for Higher Education and Management

The Coimbra Group is pleased to announce the publication in November of the 2021-04 issue of TH&MA Hoger Onderwijs, Journal of Higher Education and Management in Flanders and The Netherlands. This volume fully dedicated to the European Universities Initiative includes a contribution authored by the Chair of our Executive Board. In this opinion piece, Ludovic Thilly reflects on the role of networks in the development of the European Universities Initiative and the main priorities that should drive the further roll-out of this initiative.
Ludovic Thilly concludes his paper with the following statement: “Long-established networks do and will have in the future an essential role to play in ensuring that the knowledge and innovation gained from the implementation of the alliances are disseminated and put to practice with tangible benefits to the entire European higher education and research community.”
