Call for applications for Coimbra Group Scholarship Programmes

The Coimbra Group Office has published the call for applications for its three Scholarship Programmes for 2020:
- Scholarship Programme for Young Researchers from Sub-Saharan Africa
- Scholarship Programme for Young Professors and Researchers from Latin American Universities
- Scholarship Programme for Young Researchers from the European Neighbourhood
Online applications should be submitted before 31 March 2020 and all relevant information is available here.
The CG Scholarship Programme was initially established in 1999 to assist scholars from Eastern Europe and the Western Balkans and has since widened its geographical scope to include young researchers from Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa and the wider European Neighbourhood. This has been and remains one of the most popular and successful Coimbra Group activities, as shown by the positive feedback from past grantees, while the generous contributions from the participating Coimbra Group Universities ensure visibility for the individual university and for the Coimbra Group network as a whole, in the target areas.
