Coimbra Group Statement on Coronavirus

The spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) raises many questions from our members institutions. The Coimbra Group Executive Board is actively monitoring the WHO and European Commission statements and travel advice on the outbreak in close cooperation with the senior leadership at our member universities. We recommend participants to upcoming Coimbra Group events, meetings and activities which are scheduled in the coming weeks to strictly follow the travel advice from their national government and to have adequate travel and health insurance in place. We will continue to monitor the development of the situation closely and will post updates on this page if and when required. In the meantime, we encourage you to remain calm and follow the WHO basic protective measures against the coronavirus.
