Coimbra Group reaction to new MFF proposal

While the Coimbra Group welcomes the proposed budget for Horizon Europe programme, there is a clear lack of ambition regarding the budget proposed for the next Erasmus+ programme. It is all the more surprising that the future of Europe will necessarily depend on the support to its young people and their European commitment. Therefore the Coimbra Group calls on the EU Institutions and national policy makers to strengthen the investment in Knowledge: this includes ambitious budgets for both Horizon Europe AND Erasmus+ programmes.
