Roundtable discussion with Dr Herzberger-Fofana and Dr Ahmed Ouma

You are kindly invited to attend the two final events of the Coimbra Group Virtual Winter School on Global Change and the Covid-19 Pandemic in Africa, organized by the Development Cooperation Working Group under the coordination of the University of Würzburg:
On 25 February at 10 a.m. CET there will be a roundtable discussion with Dr. Pierrette Herzberger-Fofana, MEP and Vice-Chair of the Development Committee at the European Parliament, and Dr. Ahmed Ouma, Deputy Director of the Africa Centre for Disease Control and Prevention. They will exchange views on the effects of the Covid-19 crisis in Africa with our with the MA students and PhD candidates of our Winter School.
On the same day, 25 February, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. CET, the Winter School students will make a series of 10-minute presentations on the work they have been carrying out during the four-week online programme. They will present their suggestions on how to improve Covid-19 related policies in their research areas, among which economics, education, gender & memory, medical anthropology, ecology and health.
