Heritage WG meeting

On 7 and 8 November 2019 the Heritage Working Group of the Coimbra Group will have its Autumn meeting at the University of Coimbra. On the first day, the working group internal meeting will take place at the Geophysical and Astronomical Observatory, in Santa Clara, making visits to the astronomical domes and collections. Then we will be invited to join the Head of the Archive and the Vice-Director of the Main Library on a visit to see some treasures and important documents on the University Historic Campus. During the morning of the next day, the Open International Seminar will be held at the Mathematics Department of the Faculty of Science and Technology, on the subject: “Interconnecting narratives: tangible and intangible stories of science, arts and humanities in university libraries, archives and museums”. This theme was designed to promote the search for narratives that interconnect knowledge and material evidence of European Universities.
