PURPOSE OF THE SCHEME
The Coimbra Group Visiting Scheme is designed to increase
the level of cooperation between academic and administrative
staff of the different member institutions, with a specific
focus on the implementation of the Bologna Process throughout
the Coimbra Group
SUBJECTS COVERED
All academic subject areas as well as university administration
are included in the scheme. Although priority is given to
visits related to the Bologna Process, visits with a different
purpose may also be possible. Decisions will be at the discretion
of the sending university. The scheme aims to foster links
in education and research, and enhance the mutual exchange
of experience within administrative units. It offers staff
an opportunity to discuss issues related to the implementation
of the Bologna Process with staff in partner institutions.
DURATION OF TRAVEL
The Coimbra Group Visiting Scheme is specifically intended
to facilitate visits which last between 1-5 working days.
AMOUNT OF THE AWARD
The sending institution will cover all costs of travel and
subsistence. The number of grants available is at the discretion
of
the sending institution. For further details, please contact
your institution’s Coimbra Group Representative.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Staff interested in participating should download the application
form from this website. Completed forms should be submitted
to the named contact person at the International Relations
Office of their own institution. There are no deadlines, and
requests for participation will be dealt with on a first come
first serve basis.
